Please create a Gingr account to schedule your dog’s first day of daycare.

  • We perform evaluation days Monday through Friday by reservation only.

  • For your first day at Wag ‘n Woofs, we ask that you bring your dog by 8:00AM at the latest (we open at 6:30am so the earlier the better). This gives your dog the opportunity to sniff and explore their new surroundings before many of their new pals arrive. If you do not arrive by 8:00am, we will ask you to come back a different day so we can safely integrate your dog into playtime. Playgroup Leaders also use this time to form a bond with your pooch before they are part of the action.

  • Your dog will then be introduced to the pack, based on their comfort level.

  • We suggest leaving your dog to explore for at least 6 hours so they can settle into our routine, but they are welcome to play the whole day if it works out. At the end of the day you will find out how your pup did, but feel free to call or email at any time or check in our webcams! For more info, please check out Things to Know

All evaluations are priced at $12, which includes their day of play, and mid-day report card

It is important that your dog is comfortable in our daycare environment. If it is not a good fit for their playstyle and personality, it does not mean they will not enjoy a daycare with a different structure. Please know we do our best to create a safe and healthy playgroup. There are certain behaviors that are not safe in a large pack environment, and dogs can act differently playing with familiar dogs vs new friends. Just like people, dogs have social preferences and we do our best to help them succeed.

 PUP’S FIRST DAY OF DAYCARE

Remember to bring:

YOUR FUR BABY (1).png
  • A copy of your up-to-date vaccinations (or have your veterinarian fax records to 952-224-4493). Your dog should be up-to-date on Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella as well as a clear fecal sample within the last year.

  • If your dog is over 6 months of age, they must be spayed or neutered to start daycare. If they begin daycare as a puppy, we will allow your dog to attend daycare until it is no longer safe to have them interact in large group play. At 6 months your dog is automatically on probation and you will be notified when they can no longer come. We do not allow unaltered adult dogs.

  • Fill out our enrollment form.

  • Your dog should wear a collar with their name tag.

  • Your dog should be on a leash for their safety coming in and out of the facility, (please leave retractable/flexi leashes at home).

  • If your pup needs lunch, we charge $3 for dogs over the age of 1.

Please call us at (952) 224-4491 with any questions about our first day guidelines. We would love the opportunity to play with your dog!
